HOMESPELL invites us to consider humanity’s extractive relationship with the Earth, as well as other patterns of disconnect, as calcified grief in disguise. It is a multi-generational, multi-cultural inquiry into the meaning, memories, and yearning for home, within. Homespell invites participants into a theatrical and epistolary ritual catalyzed by a Beckett-like messenger. Together we create incantations of care and connection for ourselves, each other, and our planet.
UNBECOMING is an anti-perfection ritual that examines societal, familial, and cultural roots of shame and honors the places within that were once deemed ‘unacceptable. After council and intentional preparation with the ensemble, the costumes come in! This time, you’re invited to attend the most fabulous birthday party imaginable!
